Why should you choose a board certified plastic surgeon?
You need to be aware that the minimal training required to be board certified in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery after medical school is five (5) years. The physician has to pass a rigorous exam set by the board in order to practice the specialty of plastic and reconstructive surgery. You have a right to ask about the specific credentials, experience, and training of your physician. ASK ABOUT YOUR SURGEON'S QUALIFICATIONS!
What are recuperation times for the various procedures?
Go to services and choose procedures. This will give you a description of the procedure and estimated recuperation time.
Which procedures do men frequently have done?
Men frequently have a blepharoplasty (eyelid lift) and rhinoplasty (nose). However, because of the increased popularity in plastic surgery men are having more facelifts, liposuction, and laser resurfacing than ever before.
Which procedures require an overnight stay?
We recommend that facelift and abdominoplasty patients stay for a 23 hour cosmetic stay. We are conveniently located in Celebration Health Florida Hospital so following surgery and recovery in our suite we transfer the patient to the inpatient wing where they will stay until being discharged the following day.
How far ahead should I schedule my surgery?
We are currently booking two (2) months out from the time of your consultation.
If I am from out of town, are there accommodations available?
Yes. We provide assistance in making hotel and travel arrangements (excluding airline arrangements). We have hotels conveniently located by our office for a special rate.
Can you assist me with patient financing?
Yes. We can assist you in finding a company that specializes in patient financing.
Do you accept insurance?
While we do not participate with any insurance companies, we will provide you with any diaganosis codes or procedure codes that your insurance company may require in order to process a reimbursement should they cover a procedure. However, most procedures we perform are not covered by insurance.
